Kurt Browning

4 time World Champion, first person to land a quad!

Kurt Browning has been skating his whole life and along the way has collected 4 Canadian Titles, 4 World Titles and 3 Olympic T-Shirts. For the past 3 years Kurt has been Choreographer for Stars on Ice along with this wife Alissa Czisny. He has accumulated many awards, too many to list, and a long, some say too long, professional career, his latest challenge and passion has been working with adult skaters!

When asked why he was heard to say, “I love their zeal, I love seeing them improve and they are more fun than taxes”.  He is looking forward to another adventure with Heidi and his skating friends.

Alissa Czisny

Two time US Champion, Grand Prix Final Champion

Born and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio, Alissa has been skating since she was eighteen months old and cannot remember a time when she didn’t love skating. Her passion for the sport culminated in two US National Championship titles and a win at the Grand Prix Final champion—she is one of only four American women to ever win the event. Alissa is also a two-time US National Collegiate Figure Skating Champion. She attended Bowling Green State University full time and graduated summa cum laude while also competing and training at the top levels of the sport. Alissa is also a two-time US Professional Open champion and still participates in many skating shows and tours!

When she is not performing, Alissa spends much of her time sharing her knowledge of and passion for figure skating with the current and next generations of skaters. She coaches all levels of skaters, specializing in spins, and participates in seminars around the world, passing along her expertise and experience in figure skating to others. She is also the current associate choreographer for Stars on Ice, and has choreographed the past three years’ tours with her husband, Kurt Browning.
